Job Vacancy: Chef / Cook
Location: Bromley Park Care Home, 75 Bromley Road, Beckenham BR3 5PA
Contracted hours: 24 hours – including every other weekend free
Hourly rate of pay: From £11.50 – To be discussed at interview

We’re currently on the lookout for a Chef to lead our professional catering team. You’ll be responsible for providing high quality, attractive dishes for the people in our care with a range of special dietary and nutritional needs. You will have the opportunity to excel whilst:
The Chef / Cook responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Preparing menus and agree them with the residents and the manager, including any resident preferences, special diets and specific foods as needed.
· Preparing and serving all meals in a timely manner.
· Maintaining the safety and hygiene of the kitchen environment.
· Ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements on food hygiene, storage and temperature control.
· Supporting the kitchen team and liaising with colleagues from other departments.
· Operating an efficient stock control system.
