Having qualified as an OSCE Nurse with the support of Nellsar, Asmita is now part of the Nursing team at Hengist Field Care Home.

 

How long have you worked at Nellsar?
I have worked at Nellsar for eleven months.

Do you have any specific nursing specialisms?
I have been working in the Dementia Unit as well as in the General Unit.

What made you want to follow a Nursing career?
I have a burning desire to become the very best Nurse I can be. Nellsar has offered me the opportunity to take on interesting tasks, work with experienced people from whom I can learn and develop my overall nursing skills, with motivation from our Mentors.

What makes a good Nellsar Nurse?
Patience, empathy, a strong desire to help others and kindness is what makes Nellsar Nurses outstanding and different from others.

What do you enjoy most about your role?
As a Nurse I can empower people and make a difference in the lives of other people with kindness and compassion, which is what makes my role interesting.

Is teamwork an important aspect of your role?
Teamwork always leads towards the best outcomes. Cooperating as a team, we can make work easier and can learn different things. In Nellsar Homes we all work as a family which is very helpful for every staff member.
